Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation with over 227 million resident, faces profound challenges in delivering equitable and quality healthcare, especially to its underserved communities. The nation’s healthcare system is burdened by inadequate infrastructure, a significant shortage of medical professionals, insufficient funding, and systemic inefficiencies, all of which severely impede access to essential health services.

At Olivehill Development Initiative, we recognize that healthcare is not a privilege, it is a fundamental right. We are committed to bridging the healthcare gap by designing practical, scalable, and impactful interventions that ensure equitable access to quality healthcare for the most vulnerable populations.

Youth Empowerment

With over 60% of its population under the age of 30, Nigeria stands at a critical juncture where the potential of its youth remains largely untapped due to pervasive unemployment and underemployment.
